Scottish Lords and Ladies Laced with Genealogy

Centuries ago, folks in Scotland bought land in New Scotland and gained a title during the Baronet Order era. This month, this woman (a descendant of Alexander McDonald) in New Scotland bought a plot of land in Scotland and became a Lady.

  2. Hi Diane: I, too, purchased plots of land for my husband and myself, in Scotland. We have been Laird and Lady McPherson of Glencoe for the past several years.
