Title: Snow in September
Snippet: It’s way too early to be thinking of snow in Atlantic Canada. We’re still enjoying the heat of summer, and mittens and winter jackets are far from our minds. That hasn’t stopped the Canadian Museum of Civilization from promoting snow. They want your photographs and stories about the fluffy white stuff that blankets the ground during our coldest months. The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2013.
The museum is interested in images and stories that are current and those that took place in the past. It might be a dramatic tale about your great-grandparents surviving a blizzard or a touching memory of the building of a child’s first snowman. You may have a story that reveals your love for snow or possibly your dread in shovelling it.
