Column: Prophets Simply Can’t Agree

Between today and Saturday, my genealogy column, Roots to the Past, is available in the following Atlantic Canada newspapers:

Tuesday: The Kings County Record (Sussex)

Wednesday: The Lunenburg County Progress Bulletin

Thursday: The Western Star (Corner Brook)

Saturday: The Citizen (Amherst)

Saturday: Times & Transcript (Moncton)

Title: Prophets Simply Can’t Agree

Snippet: This may very well be the last Roots to the Past column published in any newspaper anywhere. After all, if the Mayans, Egyptians and ancient native North Americans are correct, the world will change completely on December 21, 2012. In fact, all life on the planet may cease to exist.

Or we could wake up on the shortest day of the year and realise we have only four shopping days left until our kids run to the tree on Christmas morning. It might be cold and snowy or warm and wet, but either way, we’ll still need to get to work, pay our bills and make supper.

. . . To read more, pick up one of the above noted newspapers.
